Admittedly, it takes some getting used to when you first start using face oil. Especially if you're used to a serum or cream. But we bet you won't want to go back once you've tried natural face oil! In this article, we'll explain how to incorporate face oil into your skincare routine (and how it will make your skin glow!).
Morning routine with face oil
While you sleep, your skin is working hard. At night, your skin has time to recover and excrete waste products. This also happens through your pores. You might notice this as a greasy layer on your skin when you wake up. This is excess sebum that has accumulated during the night. To start your day with a glow, cleanse your skin every morning. You can use any cleanser you like; a milk, foam, or an oil. After cleansing, your pores are clean again, and active ingredients from skincare can be absorbed much better. Here comes in Haya Natural Face Oil! Apply two to five drops of Natural Face Oil to your clean, dry face and massage the oil into the skin with upward motions. Don't forget your neck and décolletage. Do you naturally have oily skin? Then two to three drops will be sufficient. If you have dry or dehydrated skin, you can even use more than five drops. Your skin can handle it! For glowing, hydrated skin, your skin needs nothing more after the face oil, except, of course, SPF.
SPF against premature skin aging
The sun and its harmful UV rays are the number one culprit when it comes to premature skin aging. Protecting your skin every day with SPF prevents your skin from showing signs of aging, such as pigmentation, dehydration, and wrinkles. Apply a layer of SPF over Natural Face Oil to protect your skin daily. Together with the protective antioxidants from Natural Face Oil, SPF provides optimal protection against the harmful effects of UV radiation.
Face oil and makeup: a perfect combination
The idea that face oil is difficult to combine with makeup is a myth. In fact, you can use Haya Oil Natural Face Oil very well as a primer under your makeup. Because we don't use greasy oils that sit on the skin, Natural Face Oil won't make your skin shine, and makeup will actually last longer. Let the oil absorb for two minutes before you start with makeup. This makes it easier to work with, and the skin won't be too slick.
Evening routine with face oil
Also – or perhaps even especially – in the evening, a hydrating, natural face oil is wonderful for your skin. After a day where your skin has been exposed to external factors like UV radiation, pollution, and blue light, it's nice to let your skin calm down and recover. This starts with thorough but gentle cleansing of your skin. By cleaning your skin well every evening, you free your skin from bacteria, makeup, and dirt. This allows your skin to absorb the active ingredients from face oil better, and the product can work much more effectively. Apply Natural Face Oil to a dry face after cleansing. In the evening, you can be a bit more generous; your skin can really use the hydration and recovery. Apply five to eight drops to your cleansed face and take your time to massage the oil in. Work in upward motions and don't forget your neck and décolletage. Tip: apply the oil five to ten minutes before going to bed. This way, your pillow won't get greasy.
