Pure, natural ingredients and absolutely no chemical additives like drying alcohol, fragrance, and parabens. At Haya Oil, we believe this is the secret to beautiful, radiant skin. It’s no coincidence that we only combine botanical oils in Natural Face Oil, our 100% natural facial oil for all skin types. In this article, we'll delve deeper into the six oils we selected and why we chose them. Small spoiler: they all do something different for your skin and will make your face glow!
Why natural skincare?
The choice for 100% natural skincare is often a very conscious one. Perhaps you have sensitive skin and want to treat it as gently as possible. Or you want to avoid triggering anything with drying alcohol and fragrance to keep your skin beautiful, healthy, and young for longer. 100% natural skincare usually contains ingredients that are gentle on the skin and full of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, omega fatty acids, and polyphenols. Exactly what your skin needs! Haya Oil Natural Face Oil is free from chemical additives and formulated exclusively with natural, plant-based ingredients.
The six key ingredients of Natural Face Oil
To balance, hydrate, protect, and keep your skin smooth and supple for longer, we extensively researched the ideal composition of plant-based oils. We wanted the oil to be nourishing but not greasy. And for the oil to give a beautiful glow without making you shiny. After years of development and testing, we arrived at a blend of almond oil, argan oil, rosehip oil, avocado oil, olive oil, and vitamin E oil.
Almond oil
Almond oil is a non-greasy oil packed with vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, and E, zinc, and essential fatty acids. Not only is almond oil hydrating, but it is also praised for its restorative properties. For instance, irritated, itchy, or sunburned skin can be effectively treated with almond oil.
Argan oil
Whether you have dry or oily skin, suffer from acne or wrinkles: you can never go wrong with argan oil. This oil is traditionally produced in Morocco and offers many benefits for your skin. Argan oil retains moisture well, restores the skin barrier, and has healing and purifying effects on skin suffering from eczema or acne. Argan oil contains an abundance of beneficial substances for your skin: omega-6 fatty acids, vitamin E, polyphenols, squalene, and sterols.
Rosehip oil
This oil is packed with antioxidants (vitamins C and E) and essential fatty acids that protect the skin, soften it, and help retain moisture. Rosehip oil is also an excellent choice if you want to boost your dull complexion. The vitamin C brightens the skin and can alleviate hyperpigmentation.
Avocado oil
Avocado oil is a rich, full-bodied oil that scores high in hydration. The antioxidants and vitamins in avocado oil combat dryness, redness, and irritation, and provide relief for eczema and psoriasis. Avocado oil can also help wounds heal faster. You'll find plenty of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins A, C, D, and E, lecithin, and potassium in avocado oil.
Olive oil
Did you know that the (healthy) benefits of olive oil also apply to your skin? The combination of exceptionally high concentrations of unsaturated fatty acids and various vitamins makes olive oil a hydrating, protective skin oil that also gives you a healthy glow. With olive oil, you protect your skin against external influences, given the antioxidant action of this light oil. Finally, olive oil is known for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. A good choice for blemish-prone skin, therefore.
Vitamin E
For extra protection and hydration, we added vitamin E to Natural Face Oil. Vitamin E, especially in combination with vitamin C, an antioxidant also found in our oil, works powerfully against pigmentation and can help the skin recover faster. The protective function of vitamin E ensures that your skin is resilient against harmful external factors, such as pollution, all day long. An indispensable ingredient!
